Technical Description

The 2020 Doosan DNM650 is a 3-axis vertical machining center in the larger format of the DNM series, providing a wide machining envelope well-suited for the production of large prismatic components in automotive, energy, and general industrial applications. The machine is built on a robust cast iron structure with wide-span guideways engineered for rigidity under heavy cutting forces and long-term dimensional accuracy. The DNM650 provides an X-axis travel of 1,270 mm (50.0 in), Y-axis travel of 670 mm (26.4 in), and Z-axis travel of 625 mm (24.6 in), served by a 1,300 x 670 mm worktable with a maximum load of 1,000 kg. The spindle is rated at 15 kW (continuous) with a maximum speed of 12,000 RPM, providing broad coverage from heavy roughing of cast iron to higher-speed finishing passes on aluminum and light alloys.
