The 2015 Fanuc RoboDrill D14iS (Alpha-D14iS) is a 3-axis compact drilling, tapping, and milling center designed for high-speed, high-precision machining of small-to-medium precision parts. The RoboDrill series is manufactured by Fanuc Corporation and is widely used in automotive, electronics, medical device, and precision component manufacturing due to its combination of speed, accuracy, and compact footprint. The machine features a BT30 spindle taper and reaches a maximum spindle speed of 30,000 RPM, enabling aggressive high-speed cutting strategies in aluminum, brass, and plastics, as well as precision steel and titanium work at reduced feeds and speeds.
