The 2021 Hurco BMC40 is a 3-axis vertical machining center offering a larger machining envelope than the BMC30 family, designed for production of medium-to-large components in job shop and contract manufacturing environments. The BMC40 provides axis travels of 40 inches in X, 20 inches in Y, and 20 inches in Z, accommodating larger workpieces and multi-fixture setups. The worktable measures 52 inches by 20 inches, providing a broad fixturing surface suited to production-scale workholding. The spindle delivers 25 HP of continuous power and reaches a maximum speed of 8,000 RPM through a CAT40 taper.
