The 2012 Hurco VM10U is a 5-axis universal vertical machining center from Hurco's VM10 series, designed for simultaneous 5-axis machining of complex geometric forms in a compact footprint. The VM10U features linear axis travels of 20 inches in X, 16 inches in Y, and 15.7 inches in Z, with a trunnion-style tilting rotary table providing the A and C axes for full 5-axis simultaneous contouring. This configuration enables complete machining of complex prismatic, contoured, and undercut features in a single setup, eliminating the multiple setups and refixturing errors inherent in 3-axis approaches.
