The 2017 Hurco VMX50I is a 3-axis vertical machining center combining the large-envelope VMX50 platform with Hurco WinMax i-control (MAX5), providing enhanced CNC performance and improved servo control for demanding production environments. The machine provides 50-inch X-axis travel, 26-inch Y-axis travel, and 24-inch Z-axis travel with a 59-inch by 26-inch worktable capable of supporting table loads up to 4,400 pounds. The CAT 40 spindle delivers 24 horsepower peak at up to 12,000 RPM, enabling efficient cutting across a wide range of materials including aluminum, steel, and titanium.
