Technical Description

The 2025 Hyundai WIA F960B is a 3-axis heavy-duty vertical machining center designed for the most demanding large-format mold, die, and structural manufacturing applications. The machine provides a 106.3" x 37.4" worktable -- among the largest in the F-series lineup -- with X/Y/Z travels of 96.5", 37.4", and 33.5", accommodating exceptionally large and complex workpieces. The BBT50 Big-Plus spindle reaches 8,000 RPM as standard -- with a 12,000 RPM high-speed option -- driven by a 30 HP motor, with box guideway construction on all four faces per axis for maximum rigidity under heavy interrupted cutting. A 30-tool ATC with a 40-tool option supports complex, multi-operation machining sequences across long production cycles. The Siemens 828D CNC control provides advanced high-speed contouring, rigid tapping, and a comprehensive programming environment suitable for large, complex part programs. Maximum table load is 9,921 lbs. The F960B delivers the extreme-capacity machining envelope and high-torque spindle performance required by mold shops and heavy manufacturing facilities working with the largest workpieces in their class.
