The 2018 Jyoti K2X 8FIVE is a 5-axis vertical machining center built on the K2X 8 bridge-type platform from Jyoti CNC Automation, an Indian manufacturer specializing in high-speed precision machining centers. The machine features a 31.5" x 23.6" worktable with X/Y/Z travels of 27.6", 23.6", and 17.7", with fourth and fifth axes provided by a tilting rotary table enabling full 5-axis simultaneous contouring. The HSK-63A electro-spindle reaches 24,000 RPM driven by a 34 HP continuous motor, providing exceptional surface speed for aluminum, titanium, and composite materials. Siemens 840D sl CNC control delivers comprehensive 5-axis simultaneous interpolation, RTCP/TCP (tool center point control), high-speed look-ahead processing, and an advanced operator interface. The open bridge-type structure provides excellent chip evacuation and operator access for 5-axis workpiece loading. Rapid traverse on all linear axes supports short cycle times across complex 5-axis programs. The K2X 8FIVE is suited to aerospace, medical, and mold applications requiring full 5-axis simultaneous machining capability with high-speed spindle performance in a compact bridge-style package.
