Technical Description

The 2010 Kao Ming 4000SV H is a 3-axis double-column vertical machining center engineered for exceptionally large workpiece machining across aerospace, energy, mold, and heavy manufacturing sectors. The machine provides a 157.5" x 65.0" worktable with X/Y/Z travels of 142.9", 76.7", and 30.5", delivering one of the largest machining envelopes available in the VMC category. The No.50 taper spindle operates at 4,400 RPM driven by a 35 HP motor, providing the sustained torque required for heavy interrupted cutting across large ferrous workpieces. A 30-tool ATC supports multi-operation machining sequences across extended production cycles. The Fanuc 18iMB CNC control delivers comprehensive G-code capability, rigid tapping, and a robust operator interface suitable for large, complex part programs. The double-column bridge structure provides the exceptional rigidity and thermal stability required for accurate machining across this large working envelope. Maximum workpiece weight is 24,200 lbs. The 4000SV H is Kao Ming's flagship large-format double-column VMC, suited to facilities working with the largest and heaviest workpieces in mold, die, and structural manufacturing.
