Technical Description

The 2003 Kitamura Mycenter 3XI is a 3-axis high-speed vertical machining center from Kitamura Machinery, offering a 15,000 RPM spindle and the build quality that defines the Mycenter series. The machine provides a 32.3" x 16.1" worktable with X/Y/Z travels of 30.0", 17.9", and 18.1". A 15 HP spindle motor drives the BT40 spindle to 15,000 RPM, providing the speed for fine surface finishes on aluminum and high-speed contouring of hardened steels. A 30-tool ATC enables multi-operation machining. Fanuc CNC control provides rigid tapping, high-speed look-ahead, and macro programming. Machine weight is approximately 12,000 lbs. Maximum table load is approximately 1,540 lbs. The Mycenter 3XI is positioned for shops requiring higher spindle speed than the standard 3X's 10,000 RPM while retaining the same worktable and travel dimensions, making it a direct upgrade path for shops machining aluminum, medical components, or precision mold work.
