2014 MATSUURA VX1000 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2014 Matsuura VX-1000 is a 3-axis vertical machining center from Matsuura's VX-series, designed for high-accuracy production machining of medium-to-large components. The worktable measures 1,200 x 600 mm (47.24" x 23.62") and supports a maximum load of 700 kg (1,543 lbs) with T-slots at standard pitch. Axis travels are 1,020 mm (40.16") in X, 510 mm (20.08") in Y, and 460 mm (18.11") in Z. The BT40 spindle is rated at 15 kW (20 HP) continuous with a standard maximum speed of 12,000 RPM; optional configurations of 15,000 or 20,000 RPM are available for high-speed finishing applications. The 30-tool arm-type ATC achieves a tool-to-tool change time of 1.2 seconds, supporting complex multi-operation programs with minimal non-cut time. Optional 40- and 60-tool magazines are available. The CNC is the Fanuc 31i-B, providing high-speed contouring, rigid tapping, AICC II look-ahead interpolation, and full 4th/5th axis interface capability. Matsuura's thermal displacement compensation and precision ground ballscrews contribute to positional accuracy and long-term repeatability in production environments. Machine weight is approximately 7,200 kg (15,873 lbs). The VX-1000 is a versatile platform for aerospace subcontracting, die/mold, and general precision manufacturing.
