2008 OKK VM900 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2008 OKK VM900 is a 3-axis vertical machining center manufactured by OKK (Osaka Kiko Co., Ltd.), a Japanese precision machine tool builder. The VM900 is the largest model in OKK's VM series, engineered for heavy-duty machining of very large prismatic workpieces including large mold bases, die sets, structural plates, and heavy machine components. The machine table measures approximately 90.6 by 37 inches, with X-axis travel of 81.1 inches, Y-axis travel of 37 inches, and Z-axis travel of 32.28 inches, creating a very large three-dimensional work envelope suited to the most demanding large-format milling requirements. A 35 HP spindle through No. 50 CAT taper tooling reaches 8,000 RPM, prioritizing torque and rigidity for heavy milling in steel, cast iron, and large aluminum billets over high rotational speed. The substantial table load capacity accommodates the heaviest production workpieces without risk of table deflection or loss of accuracy. OKK's cast iron base and column construction on the VM900 delivers the structural mass and rigidity required to maintain dimensional accuracy under the high cutting forces generated by aggressive roughing of large parts. The VM900 is well suited to heavy industrial manufacturers, large mold and die shops, and energy sector machining facilities requiring the most capable large-envelope VMC in OKK's vertical lineup, with the reliability and precision expected from Japanese precision machine tool engineering.
