A+Technical Description
The 2017 ROEDERS RXP 300 is a 3-axis ultra-high-speed micromachining center from German precision builder Roeders, engineered for micro-mold, precision optics, and miniature component machining at extreme spindle speeds. The compact 14.6" x 13.8" worktable is sized for small precision inserts, micro-molds, and precision tooling, with the working envelope defined by 12.6" in X, 11.8" in Y, and 7.9" in Z. The HSK-E25 taper spindle operates at up to 50,000 RPM, enabling extremely fine chip-load cutting in hardened steel, tungsten carbide, copper, and graphite with surface finishes approaching optical quality. Feed rates of up to 1,575 ipm support aggressive high-speed toolpaths. The ROEDERS RMS6 CNC features nano-interpolation, high-speed look-ahead, and sub-micron servo resolution for precise surface generation. A 42-tool ATC supports extended unattended micro-machining runs. The machine has an overall footprint of 78.7" x 70.9" x 78.7" tall and weighs approximately 8,378 lbs. An optional rotary/tilt unit enables 5-axis operation. The RXP 300 is suited to micro-mold, medical implant, watchmaking, and precision optics production.
