Technical Description

The 2015 ROEDERS RXP800 is a high-speed precision machining center from German builder Roeders, available in 3-axis and 5-axis (RXP800DS) configurations and designed for large-format mold, die, and precision component machining at high spindle speeds. The 34.6" x 27.6" worktable accommodates large mold plates and die blocks. Axis travels of 31.5" in X, 23.6" in Y, and 15.7" in Z span the cutting envelope. The HSK-E50 taper spindle operates at up to 36,000 RPM standard (with optional configurations to 90,000 RPM), enabling a wide range of high-speed cutting strategies in hardened steel, graphite, copper, and aluminum. Linear motors in all axes provide rapid traverse of up to 2,362 ipm with zero backlash and high servo stiffness for precision contouring. The ROEDERS RMS6 CNC delivers nano-interpolation, high-speed look-ahead processing, and comprehensive thermal compensation for sustained dimensional accuracy. A 30-tool ATC supports extended production sequences. At approximately 26,455 lbs, the RXP800 provides the structural rigidity needed for precision high-speed cutting in demanding mold and die production environments.
