The 2017 SAMSUNG PCV400 is a 3-axis vertical machining center with integrated pallet changer system from Korean manufacturer Samsung Machine Tools (SMEC), designed for high-productivity unattended production of small-to-medium precision components. The 29.53" x 16.54" BT40 Dual Contact worktable supports loads up to 1,234 lbs, with axis travels of 27.56" in X, 16.54" in Y, and 20.08" in Z. The dual-contact spindle delivers 25 HP at up to 10,000 RPM. A Fanuc 0i-MF CNC controls the machine. A 24+1 side-mount ATC enables efficient tool management in high-cycle production. The integrated pallet changer enables continuous production by allowing loading and unloading of the idle pallet while machining proceeds on the active pallet, eliminating load/unload downtime in production cells. At approximately 10,000 lbs, the PCV400 is suited to high-volume production facilities in automotive, aerospace supply chain, and precision component manufacturing environments.
