2023 TORMACH 770MX VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2023 Tormach 770MX is a 3-axis compact vertical machining center and the premium configuration of the Tormach 770-series platform. The 770MX upgrades the spindle taper from R8 to BT30, enabling compatibility with Tormach's automatic tool changer for fully automated tool changes — a key operational advantage over the standard 770M. The machine provides axis travels of 14.0" in X, 7.5" in Y, and 13.25" in Z, with a work table measuring 26" x 8". The spindle operates at up to 5,000 RPM with 1 HP continuous power. The PathPilot CNC control provides a touchscreen operator interface with G-code and conversational programming, tool path preview, and accessible setup workflows. The machine occupies a footprint of 56" x 48.5" with an overall height of 88" and weighs approximately 950 lbs. As a compact light-duty VMC, the 770MX is suited to machining aluminum, plastics, brass, and mild steel for prototyping, short-run work, and educational environments. The BT30 spindle and ATC capability improve throughput for multi-operation parts compared to manual tool-change configurations.
