THE 2008 YASKAWA MOTOMAN EA1400N IS A DUAL-ARM ROBOTIC MIG WELDING CELL FEATURING TWO 6-AXIS ARTICULATED ROBOTS MOUNTED ON A COMMON FABRICATED BASE. EACH EA1400N ROBOT HAS A 3.00 KG PAYLOAD CAPACITY, A 1390.00 MM HORIZONTAL REACH, AND A REPEATABILITY OF ±0.0800 MM. THE SYSTEM IS CONTROLLED BY DUAL MOTOMAN NX100 CONTROLLERS AND INCLUDES TWO MOTOMAN MOTOWELD EL-350 MIG WELDING POWER SUPPLIES AND TWO WELD GUNS. THE CELL IS INTEGRATED WITH A MOTOMAN MOTOPOS A/B SIDED INDEX TABLE PROVIDING AN 11,000 LB (5,000 KG) CAPACITY FOR SIMULTANEOUS LOADING AND UNLOADING DURING OPERATION. DESIGNED FOR FLOOR, CEILING, OR WALL MOUNTING, EACH ROBOT HAS A MASS OF 130.00 KG. MOTION SPEEDS REACH UP TO 150°/S FOR J1, 160°/S FOR J2, 170°/S FOR J3, 340°/S FOR J4 AND J5, AND 520°/S FOR J6. THE MOTION RANGE FOR EACH ARM IS J1 ±170°, J2 +155°/-90°, J3 +190°/-170°, J4 ±150°, J5 +180°/-45°, AND J6 ±200°. THE SYSTEM IS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH TIP CLEANERS FOR MAINTENANCE DURING THE WELDING PROCESS.
