2011 ACER VMC1724 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2011 Acer VMC1724 is a 3-axis vertical machining center sharing the same proven platform as earlier production years of this model. The spindle provides 15 HP (30-minute rating) through a CAT-40 taper, with a maximum speed of 8,000 RPM. The worktable measures 26 by 16 inches and accommodates workpieces up to 1,100 pounds. Axis travels are 24 inches in X, 17.3 inches in Y, and 20 inches in Z, with rapid traverse of 787 IPM on all axes. A 20-station automatic tool changer is standard. The control system on 2011 production units is the Anilam 6000M or an upgraded Fanuc-compatible equivalent. Box-way construction provides excellent rigidity for demanding cutting applications. Standard equipment includes flood coolant, auto lubrication, and full enclosure guarding. Optional rotary and index tables expand the machine's versatility. The 2011 build year reflects the final production phase of the VMC1724, incorporating any accumulated refinements from the model's production history. Specifications are unchanged from earlier builds in this model run.
