Technical Description

The AWEA BM1600-50 is a 3-axis vertical machining center from AWEA Mechantronic Co., Ltd.'s BM series featuring a CAT-50 spindle taper and box-way construction, designed for heavy-duty machining of large ferrous and alloy workpieces. The BM1600-50 offers an X-axis travel of 1,600 mm (approximately 63 inches), Y-axis travel of approximately 800 mm (31.5 inches), and Z-axis travel of approximately 800 mm (31.5 inches), providing a large work envelope for mold bases, structural components, and large production parts. The CAT-50 spindle interface provides high torque capacity for aggressive cutting in hardened tool steels and large alloy workpieces. Box-way construction on all axes delivers the vibration damping and structural stiffness required for sustained heavy cutting operations without accelerated way wear.
