The AWEA SP2016HSS is a 3-axis bridge-type vertical machining center from AWEA Mechantronic Co., Ltd., representing the High-Speed Spindle (HSS) variant of the SP2016 platform. The HSS designation indicates a higher-speed spindle configuration compared to the standard SP2016, typically offering spindle speeds up to 15,000 to 20,000 RPM for high-speed machining of aluminum, graphite electrodes, and other materials benefiting from elevated spindle speeds.
