2002 ENSHU ES400 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2002 ENSHU ES400 is a 3-axis vertical machining center built for high-speed, high-precision machining of small-to-medium workpieces in production environments. Manufactured by ENSHU Limited of Japan, the ES400 is a compact VMC designed around a BT30-taper spindle capable of reaching 13,000 RPM, making it well-suited for high-throughput work on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and light steels where fine surface finishes and short cycle times are priorities. The machine provides 15.7 inches of travel in both the X and Y axes and 14.8 inches in the Z axis, serving components that fit within a compact work envelope. The work table measures 28.0 by 16.0 inches and is equipped with T-slots for workholding flexibility. A 21-tool automatic tool changer supports unattended and lights-out machining cycles, while the spindle is optionally available in a 20,000 RPM high-speed configuration for applications demanding very fine finishes or hard milling. Spindle power is approximately 7.4 HP continuous. The machine is controlled by a Fanuc 18i-M CNC, providing full compatibility with standard G-code programming, canned cycles, and macro programming. Approximate machine footprint is 122 by 54 inches. The ES400 is a well-regarded compact machining center in the ENSHU lineup, balancing a small footprint with rigid construction and a high-speed spindle suitable for precision production work.
