2001 MAZAK VTC200G VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2001 Mazak VTC200G is a 3-axis traveling-column vertical machining center built on the long-bed VTC200 platform, incorporating linear (roller) guideways for enhanced axis speed and positioning performance. The 'G' suffix denotes the linear guideway configuration, which enables higher rapid traverse speeds and superior positioning accuracy compared to box-way variants. The machine features a 154.33 x 20.08 in. worktable with a load capacity of 4,600 lbs, and provides axis travels of 144.09 in. (X), 20.08 in. (Y), and 20.08 in. (Z). This extraordinary X-axis travel makes the VTC200G suited to very long aerospace structures, die sets, and multi-part production setups that would require repositioning on shorter machines. The CAT 40 spindle delivers a maximum speed of 12,000 RPM with 25 HP of continuous output, supporting productive cutting across aluminum and ferrous materials. A 24 to 48-tool ATC supports complex programs. The 2001 VTC200G is controlled by Mazatrol 640MN CNC, providing conversational Mazatrol and EIA/ISO programming with full 3-axis contouring, tool life management, and advanced connectivity. The traveling-column design keeps the worktable stationary throughout the full X stroke, enabling easy loading of heavy and elongated workpieces. The VTC200G is well suited to manufacturers in aerospace, defense, and heavy equipment sectors requiring very long-workpiece machining capability in a single setup.
