The 2015 Mori Seiki DURACENTER 5 is a 5-axis vertical machining center from Mori Seiki's DURACENTER series, engineered for complex simultaneous 5-axis machining of high-value components in aerospace, medical device, and precision industrial manufacturing. The DURACENTER 5 features a 43.3 x 23.6 inch work table and X-, Y-, and Z-axis travels of 31.5, 20.1, and 20.1 inches with full 5-axis simultaneous contouring. The BT-40 taper spindle operates at speeds up to 12,000 RPM with a 20 HP motor. The Mori Seiki MSX-501M CNC with MAPPS enables conversational 5-axis programming and advanced motion control for complex simultaneous contouring operations.
