A+Technical Description
The 2013 ROEDERS RXP500 is a high-speed precision machining center from German builder Roeders, available in 3-axis and 5-axis (RXP500DS) configurations and designed for high-accuracy mold, die, and precision component machining at extreme spindle speeds. The 21.7" x 17.7" worktable accommodates medium-format mold inserts and precision components up to 882 lbs. Axis travels of 19.7" in X, 17.9" in Y, and 9.4" in Z define the cutting envelope. The HSK-E40 or HSK-E25 taper spindle operates at up to 42,000 RPM, enabling aggressive high-speed finishing in hardened tool steel up to 62 HRC, graphite, copper, and aluminum with excellent surface finish. Feed rates of up to 1,654 ipm support high-speed toolpaths with short cycle times. The ROEDERS RMS6 CNC delivers nano-interpolation, high-speed look-ahead processing, and thermal compensation for sustained dimensional accuracy. The 5-axis DS variant adds a tilting-rotary table for complete 5-sided access. At approximately 13,228 lbs, the RXP500 is suited to injection mold manufacturing, stamping die production, and precision tooling environments.
